Just a little tweaking left to go (sorting through and organizing all of my genealogy documents), but my work space is ready to go. Our mobile home has three bedrooms, so Bill and I each have our own hobby rooms. In the past I'd either have to use a little corner of the living room which was not very functional, as when I do my genealogy I'll have papers spread out and sometimes my genealogy would spill out into the living room, making a big mess. In Coalinga, Bill and I shared a room for our hobbies, and again, this didn't work well either, but partially because of all the preschool stuff I had. Most of my preschool stuff, I've been giving away, mostly to the preschool at church. I saved some preschool stuff to use with my niece and nephews (I keep one of my nephews one day a week, so he doesn't have to go to the babysitter every day).
My goal is to start working on my genealogy on Thursday. I figured I can sort my papers for by my primary surnames (Blickhahn, Stanley, Stange, and Olerud), with each surname having a box. Then it's time to input all of these papers into my computer. Once I get going, all of you who follow my website and blog, should see a lot of changes on my website as I begin updating each of my families with my finds.
