I really need to get motivated and get some serious genealogy done before I head off to Salt Lake in June. By the time I finish working for the day and get home, I just don't have the energy to work on my genealogy. I have to be in Fresno Monday afternoon, so I may just make a day of it and visit the Fresno library. Upstairs in the library, they have a wonderful genealogy room. I was very impressed at the vast number of books the library owns. Most of the resources are for the US, and although my primary research goal for my Salt Lake trip is to find out more about my Cleff family line, my secondary goal is to document my Oakley line for DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) submission. Much of the information should be available at the Fresno library. I am fortunate to have genealogy resources so close to home.
